Insurance and Billing
Insurance issues can be complicated and difficult to understand. Our billing department is helpful and skilled in navigating the "ins and outs" of the insurance system and can be reached at (231) 421-8099 extension 211.
While we do accept all insurances (meaning we will not turn your child away due to what insurance they have), we are not "in network" for every single insurance company, which may affect the amount of money that you as the patient are ultimately responsible for. Please do be mindful of this and do your research with your insurance company prior to choosing a physician!
If we do not participate with your insurer, as a courtesy we will file a claim for you. We expect that you will follow-up with them with any reimbursement issues. Payment is expected at the time of service.

- Blue Care Network
- Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Traditional
- CoFinity (previously PPOM)
- Physician's Care /ASR
- Priority Health
- Tricare
- United Health Care
We currently participate with the following Medicaid plans:
- McLaren
- Meridian Health Plan
- “MiChild”
- Molina
Please bring your current insurance card to each visit so that we may bill properly.
Financial Policy
To serve our patients in the most efficient and economical manner possible, we must keep our accounts current. For this reason, we ask that all patients pay office copays at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, health savings account cards, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, and money orders. A payment plan can be arranged if necessary. We will bill participating insurance companies and Medicaid for you. If we do not participate with your insurer we expect you to pay us directly. As a courtesy we will submit a claim for you when possible, or we will provide you with the necessary forms for reimbursement. We cannot, however, follow-up with them to ensure they have reimbursed you.
