If your child is sick and needs to be seen in our office, please call for an appointment as soon as possible. If you are uncertain about your child’s health or symptoms, feel free to call our office and speak with our dedicated phone triage nurse, who is available every day from 8am to 5pm.
When you call, staff members will ask questions about your child’s symptoms, the duration of symptoms, health issues your child might have, and any medications your child is taking. Being prepared to answer these questions will help the call go as quickly and smoothly as possible. If you need an appointment, we will schedule one that will best suit the health of your child and the availability in our schedule.
After Hours Calls
Please remember that calls after our routine daily and extended evening office hours are for emergencies only. For example, this would be a need or problem that cannot wait until normal office hours. If you call after normal nurse telephone hours, your call will be answered by a nurse call center and a nurse will return your call as quickly as possible.
In addition to the nurse call center, one of our physicians is always available. Should the nurse call center feel your child needs to go to the emergency room, they will discuss this with the physician on call.
For life threatening emergencies or injury call 911 or take your child to the nearest emergency room.
