Preventive care well child visits, often called checkups or annual physicals, supports healthy growth and development by ensuring children stay on track with recommended care. During these visits, your pediatrician will track your child’s development, assure they are up-to-date on any vaccinations, and review the child’s growth and care. Sick Child Visits
When your child is sick, prompt medical care is essential to help them feel better and recover quickly. We understand how stressful it can be when your child isn’t feeling well, which is why we offer same-day sick visits to ensure timely treatment. If you have any concerns or need to schedule a visit, please call our office to discuss your child’s symptoms so we can arrange an appointment tailored to their needs. Telehealth
Traverse Area Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic offers limited
telehealth (virtual) appointments, including behavioral and mental health visits for both initial evaluations and follow-up care when appropriate. However, certain conditions—such as ear pain, significant coughs, or illnesses requiring lab testing like urinary tract infections, strep, or flu—cannot be accurately assessed through telehealth. In some cases, after a video consultation, we may recommend an in-person visit if a physical examination is needed beyond what can be accomplished through video conferencing.
